Bossico is a commune (municipality) with a population of 1’000, located 11 km northeast of Lake Iseo in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region of Lombardy. It generally offers a breathtaking panoramic view and specifically of the Iseo Lake. Motorcyclists love the little town, as the road leading to it offers some hairpin turns from which you can enjoy wonderful views already.
The whole area and Bossico itself benefit from a unique location and a very mild and pleasant climate. On an altitude of 900 m.a.s.l. there is always a cooling breeze on your skin while enjoying one of the various possible activities like Nordic walking, tramping or paragliding. Especially mountain bikers and trail bikers appreciate the mountainous area.
Paragliding off the peak of Monte Colombina is very popular, as the microclimatic conditions at the mountain and the close proximity to the Lake Iseo guarantee an unforgettable gliding experience with a unique panoramic view. This is especially true in spring, where very good thermic conditions with very little turbulences provide excellent preconditions for your gliding event in the Lake Iseo region.
